Google uses your meta data to interpret what your website is about and ranks the pages accordingly. While it is important to have your keywords within the meta data, it can be overdone and hinder the user experience, actually deterring people away from a page rather than enticing. This happens when your meta title and description is written for Google’s search bots rather than as a description for real people. Since Google is the number one search engine in the world, it is the leader in determining which websites are the most relevant for search words and terms. Before the Google Penguin and Google Panda were let loose, SEO’s could manipulate a webpage’s rank more easily by adding lots of keywords to show Google that the page was relevant. This practice is what we now call keyword stuffing and is not just frowned upon by reputable SEO agencies, but is not tolerated by Google. In the era of internet, where approximately three billion people on this earth have access to the internet and approximately one billion websites are in existence and nothing is worst than decelerated loading website. Consequently, web users have become habitual to short attention spans and they switch to another website when the current website loads too slowly. One of the great way to build relations with your website users is through Blog Commenting. Initially building relations might take time but once you start doing regularly, you will be noticed. Moreover, you will gradually start building relations with the bloggers or site administrators etc.
Blogging is one of the simplest and
most cost-effective ways to improve
Every business needs a marketing strategy and so does a website. The best strategy to market any website is through SEO management. Google’s robots, or “spiders,” crawl the Internet by “clicking” one link after another after another. They discover new pages and websites as part of that crawl, and store the content of each of those pages in a giant database. Instead of buying links, you can invest in creating high quality content and promoting your site in a way that attracts natural backlinks. Taking this approach doesn’t cost you more than buying a bunch of bad links, and you can ultimately achieve much better results, it just requires more patience. Because they represent what a page is about, keywords should be incorporated into body text and Meta information in a way that is natural and subtle. If you’re doing a good job, the reader should consume your keyword phrases with ease like any other words in your content. Strive to incorporate a small handful of links to authoritative sources throughout your copy. This communicates to your readers (and to Google’s algorithms) that your content, while unique, gives credit where it’s due.
Are you interlinking properly?
Standard engagement behaviours on SERP results, such as click-throughs and time on page, can be an indicator of freshness and relevance. Content syndication is the term used for the tactical republishing of your original article on another third-party website. It’s particularly useful if you’re a smaller publisher or an up-and-coming writer who wants a larger audience. In document analysis, search engines look at whether they find the search terms in important areas of the document—the title, the metadata, the heading tags, and the body of the text. SEO in Goole is here. Since the advent of Panda and Hummingbird, LSI is becoming increasingly important in SEO as it’s used by Google to determine between ‘keyword stuffed’ articles and genuinely relevant content. It seems like content should be engineered for an outcome. If you just start with an article and then ask yourself how to get traction to this everywhere, that doesn’t always work.
Mobile and SEO
Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull, had the following to say: "Content gating is a popular strategy to boost conversions on your site. For instance, you can grow your list by blocking a small section of your content for subscribers only, which encourage your readers to sign up for your list." SEO is important whether you’re a seasoned ecommerce veteran or just starting to sell online. Optimizing your site will be a continuous process, as search engines are constantly surveying the internet to index and rank pages. Some sites have the same URL for both desktop and mobile content,
but change their format according to User-agent. In other words, both
mobile users and desktop users access the same URL (i.e. no
redirects), but the content/format changes slightly according to the
User-agent. You need to come up with blog post ideas, and there are various sources of data that can help you come up with topics. Randomly guessing without leveraging these data sources will hinder your potential. So how can we figure out what people are searching for when they are on Google? Google is getting smarter – to the point of becoming an AI with a LOT of personal information about its uses. Google is increasingly understanding what content actually means, rather than just what it says You should not try to‘trick’ Google.
Paying people to link to your site won’t pay off in the long run
Search engine algorithms are designed to detect content that was written for the sole purpose of boosting search engine traffic. Artificial intelligence can greatly help improve your SEO strategy by taking the huge amounts of data from your website and provide more in-depth insights into your pages’ analytics. This, in turn, can be used to design a better user experience. Heading tags are tags that are used for the creations of headings. The most important tag is the h1 heading tag, and will usually be the title of a post. Heading tags have a top-down hierarchy from h1 to h6. What value do headings have for SEO? To fully make the most of local SEO, you need to ensure that all of your content is pointing to your target areas. Data analysis should be the cornerstone of your SEO efforts. Assess how customers access your site, what they do when they get there, and where the primary exit points are.
Showcase your social feeds on your home page
SEO projects require forethought and planning to obtain the best results, and SEO needs to be considered during, and incorporated into, all stages of a website development or redevelopment project. Content that empathizes with prospective customers’ emotions can guide them through their journey as a buyer. Short paragraphs: Write short paragraphs, preferably 3-4 sentences at most. Breaking down your content into short paragraphs makes it more digestible for your readers. Whether or not a specific page ranks for a particular keyword depends largely on the quality of that individual page (content, user experience, number and quality of the backlinks, page load speed etc), and not the quality of your website as a whole. SEO factors have varying weights and no SEO consultant knows the exact weight of each or when these weights change. We’re not going to talk about every SEO factor. This is because Google has over 200 SEO factors and over 10,000 sub-signals for ranking. That is way too much information to digest and remember.
